We acknowledged that our ability to work within public space improved a lot during this project. This means our skills in communication, flexibility, resourcefulness and quick thinking became a lot better.

ART STAND is a project based on the Vrijdagsmarkt, exploring how an artistic intervention can expose and visualise different relationships, knowledge, trajectories, habits and values belonging to a Gentian market.

In collaboration with Manoeuvre VZW, a local organisation who work with traditional craft techniques, the project will culminate in the sharing of our discoveries presenting our own ‘market stand.’ We will also explore the relationship between art, art products, exchange values and sustainable practices within this public sphere.
