On Tuesday the 25th of April we will organise a Tot in de Stad! – Work in Progress moment.

Tot in de Stad! is a network of 9 partner organisations based in Ghent: Kunsthal, Manoeuvre, KASK & Conservatorium, PILOOT, LUCA School of Arts Gent, Jong Gewei, CAMPUSatelier, VIERNULVIER and de Koer. For some years already we gather to discuss, present and share artistic practices that work with / in / about the dynamics happening in the city. This approach can be considered quite broad, but what is in common is that these practices go consciously in dialogue, work bottom-up from what already is there and have a reflective aspect in them. In the last years several moments in the framework of the network happend: visits to each others organisations, the co-programmed festival Openbare Werken, and in between the organisers had a lot of sharing moments.

From 2023 on we aim to organise 2 Work in Progress-moments in collaboration with all the artists, participants and organisations. On these moments we focus on meeting each other and the different projects. Hopefully with this initiative (new) connections, inspirational and interesting talks, feedback will appear.

On Tuesday the 25th of April, in the morning everybody will come to de Koer to discover the projects related to the de Koer.  Afterwards we will all have lunch and head over to Nieuw Gent, there will some artists related to CAMPUSatelier share their projects with us. This day will happen in multiple forms; reading a text together, watch a movie, guided tour through the neighbourhood,… Many things to discover!
