FIRST PEDAGOGICAL WORKSHOP 15 SEPTEMBER 2023

On Friday, September 15, KASK & Conservatory organizes its first pedagogical workshop, supported by the resources of the Voorsprongfonds. This day will take place in the Miry on campus Grote Sikkel and in the Bijloke. With this day, we want to create the opportunity to reflect and discuss educational practice with colleagues, across different programs.

PART I: 09:30 – 10:30: Welcome and review of research projects ‘Nomadic School’ & ‘Evaluation & Feedback’

LOCATION: Concert Hall Miry – Campus Grote Sikkel (Biezekapelstraat 9)

DESCRIPTION: Freek Van Deynze and Aike Roodenburg look back on the research projects they conducted in the past year, and look ahead to what can be done with the findings in the future.

PART II: 13:30 – 14:30: Choice sessions – SESSION 1

Nomadic School of Arts: Nomadism as a Pedagogical Tool

DESCRIPTION: Always wanted to work more nomadically? Get instant inspiration from this session! We’ll take you through a brief retrospective of our project, explain some specific nomadic experiments, and provide generalizable tips & tricks for setting up nomadic initiatives of your own. Together we will discuss the chances, difficulties, threats and opportunities of nomadism.
